Equipment maintenance based on multiple fault analysis of top drive
Top drive is a mechanical-electrical-hydraulic integrated drilling equipment with a complex structure.Used in harsh environments,the top drive encounters multiple and sudden failures.Due to the pivotal role of the top drive in the drilling platform,it is extremely important to enhance daily monitoring of its various functions for potential problem identification and preventive maintenance.The process of top drive failure solving is a comprehensive logic analysis,involving aspects including machinery,electronic control,and hydraulic pressure.Therefore,it requires a deeper understanding of the equipment principle.Based on the analysis of top driveworking principle and typical failures of Beijing Petroleum Machinery(BPM)top drive in operation,this paper put forward types,principles,and methods of top drive failure analysis,as well as key points of top drive maintenance to quickly find the cause and solution of equipment failure in the future.
