Influence of hardening accelerator on the performance of cement-based foam concrete
In order to analyze the effects of hardening accelerators on the performance of cement-based foam concrete, the experimental research on cement-based foam concrete with different hardening accelerators was carried out.Based on the mass of cement,2%calcium chloride and 0.5%calcium oxalate were added as hardening accelerator, respectively. In order to decrease the shrinkage of concrete mixture, and to increase the compressive strength of hardened foam concrete. The results show that the stability of the aggregate is significantly improved, and the plastic shrinkage of foamed concrete decreases by 47%~65%.The compressive strength of foamed concrete containing hardening accelerator increases from 0.31 MPa to 0.47 MPa and from 0.96 MPa to 1.44 MPa at 28 days of age, while maintaining the average density of D400 and D600.Hardening accelerator can effectively improve the performance of cement-based foam concrete to meet the requirements of practical engineering.
