Value of standardized child health care intervention in early growth and development of 0-1 year old infants and its impact on developmental quotients
Objective To explore the effect of standardized child health care intervention on the early growth and development of infants aged 0-1.Methods A total of 62 infants who received health care at the central Hospital of Shaoyang from July 2022 to July 2023 were randomly divided into two groups(31 cases each).A control group chose conventional interventions, while an observation group chose standardized child health care intervention.Physical development indexes, developmental quotients, and nutritional diseases of infants were compared between the two groups. Results The height and weight of infants in the observation group were higher than in the control group(P<0.05),there was no significant difference in head circumference between the two groups(P>0.05).After the interventions, the developmental quotients of infants in the observation group, including language score(95.32±3.65),gross motor development score(96.35±3.15),social behavior score(96.42±3.26),fine motor development score(96.42±3.42),and cognitive ability score(96.65±5.12)were higher than in the control group(P<0.05).Moreover,the compliance rates of hemog lobin(Hb),serum albumin(ALB),and total protein(TP)in the observation group were higher than in the control group(P<0.05),and the incidence of infant nutritional diseases in the observation group was lower than in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of standardized child health care intervention in the early development of 0-1 year-old infants has a significant effect, with a notable increase in infant development quotients, good physical and behavioral development, and a reduction in the incidence of nutritional diseases.
