Numerical Simulation and Noise Reduction Analysis of Natural Gas Manifold Noise
Aiming at the aerodynamic noise of natural gas manifold under the action of high pressure air flow, the method of coupling computational fluid dynamics(CFD)and acoustic software was used to conduct numerical simulation to study the noise characteristics of natural gas manifold and evaluate the noise reduction effect of porous material encapsulation.Through the calculation of the flow field, the fluid data were imported as excitation for the sound field calculation in Virtual.Lab Acoustics to simulate the noise field dis-tribution.By the introduction of porous material model, the influence of porous material on the noise reduction performance was ana-lyzed by changing the flow resistance, thickness and density. The results show that in the frequency range of 200~2 000 Hz,the po-rous material has a good noise reduction effect.Through the analysis and comparison of different parameters,it provides guidance for the selection of porous materials in practical engineering.
