Study on pretreatment technology of waste oil from electrical desalting unit
For alleviating the inventory pressure of waste oil in refineries and maximizing the utilization of waste oil resources, the effect of electrostatic coalescence technology on dehydration and desalting of the waste oil was studied by analyzing the nature of the waste oil and optimizing the process parameters of electrostatic coalescence. The results showed that:(1)electrostatic coales-cence technology can be used to improve the quality of waste oil and realize re-utilization.Under the conditions of temperature 90 ℃,coalescence voltage 4 000 V,residence time 60 minutes and FC961 demulsifier dosage 100 μg/g,the mass fraction of water in the waste oil was reduced to 0.18%and the salt content was decreased to 11.87 mgNaCl/L;(2)the presence or en-richment of amides and ethers emulsifiers was the main reason for emulsification of the waste oil from electrical desalting unit;(3)compared with crude oil,the high viscosity of waste oil hindered the separation of oil and water to a great extent.
