Wellbore integrity technology and practice of Hutubi gas storage in Xinjiang
Due to the high single well production capacity,frequent injection-production conversion,and significant temperature and pressure changes during injection-production operations in gas storage,there was an extremely high requirement for wellbore integrity.Permanent packers,downhole safety valves,and gas sealed oil pipes were used in the injection-production wells of Hu-tubi gas storage as completion strings,which together with the wellbore and wellhead formed two independent well barriers.The material of string was optimized through indoor corrosion evaluation tests to meet the anti-corrosion requirements under long-term injection-production operation conditions.Based on the maximum allowable annular pressure value and combined with actual op-erating conditions,three types and five levels of annular pressure risk classification management methods were developed,and corresponding management and technical measures were formulated.It integrated various wellbore integrity detection technologies such as online inspection of wellhead installation,multi-finger imaging tool+electromagnetic flaw detector,downhole video and annular liquid level monitoring,to provide support for wellbore integrity analysis.At present,the device of wellhead and quality of wellbore in Hutubi gas storage meets the requirements of on-site injection and production conditions,and the wellbore integrity is good.The management experience and detection technology of wellbore integrity can provide reference for the safety manage-ment and integrity technology research of other gas storage.
