The production,consumption and development prospect of 1,4-Butanediol in China were analysed.By the end of 2023,the production capacity of 1,4-Butanediol in China was 3 753 kt/a,and the consumption in 2023 was 2 383 kt.It was estimated that the production capacity could reach about 9 000 kt/a and apparent consumption could reach about 3 700 kt in China in 2027.The development trend of 1,4-Butanediol industry and its development suggestions in China were put forward.
