Evaluation and Implementation Strategy of Turbine Life Extension Based on Safety
As an important and common large rotating equipment in the power industry,the service life of steam turbine a is usually 20 to 25 years,with the longest not more than 30 years.In China,when the generator set reaches the designed service life and complies with the relevant national policies,the equipment not included in the deactivation list needs to apply for continued operation and obtain the power business license to continue operation.As the generator set approaches the design life,its reliability and efficiency will decrease rapidly,which may lead to some safety risks in the using process,so the life extension assessment can effectively ensure the safety of the turbine in use.Based on summarization of the safety problems existing in the process of turbine life extension evaluation,the measures and precautions to ensure the safe operation of turbine are put forward.
