Design and Experimental Study of High Viscosity Chemical Waste Liquid Atomizer
A lot of high viscosity organic waste liquids are produced during the production process of petro-chemical printing and dyeing enterprises. The waste liquids are usually processed by high-temperature burning in the industrial incinerator. As the key equipment for the incinerator, the performance of the atomizer is directly related to the effectiveness of waste liquid processing in the incinerator. The waste liquid atomizer is redesigned according to the flow, temperature, and pressure of the waste liquid under a certain pressure and temperature of the atomizing medium. The spray experiments of the atomizer are made with different pressures of the atomizing medium. The atomizer was verified in the project.Experiments and practical application results show that,in the case of the waste liquid parameters remain unchanged, the atomizing medium pressure from 0.4 MPa(G)to 0.6 MPa(G),the Sauter mean diameter(SMD)from 80.69 μm to 73.18 μm,SMD did not significantly improve, but the maximum value of the instantaneous droplet size from 98 μm to 81 μm,with a significant reduction.By observing the incinerator chamber combustion, the newly designed waste liquid atomizer makes the combustion more complete, and solves the incomplete combustion, sparking phenomenon, through the sampling test, the flue gas emission characteristics of pollutants also meet the standard emission limits.
