Repair of Regenerator Lining in Heavy Oil Catalytic Cracking Unit
The locations of the transition section of the regenerator and settler,as well as the entrance of the inclined tube, represent unique features within the catalytic cracking unit. When equipment lining damage occurs,it can be challenging to repair. To identify the root causes of such damage,a comprehensive analysis was conducted, examining the lining structure, lining material, and construction measures.Based on this analysis, effective repair strategies were proposed and implemented, leading to a notable reduction in damage rates. This,in turn, has ensured the stable operation of the catalytic cracking unit, while also providing valuable insights for similar repair, maintenance, and design.
