Design and Application of Treating Equipment of Volatile Organic Compounds Emission in the Petrochemical Industry
The emission of volatile organic compounds(VOCs)from a variety of sources is identified, along with the associated hazards. The current techniques for the abatement of VOCs are examined in order to ascertain their respective advantages and disadvantages.A novel vertical design for the treating equipment of VOCs emissions in the petrochemical industry was proposed, featuring a spray apparatus. The design encompasses the structural layout, operational mechanisms, and distinctive features of the equipment. This system integrates the processing of both gaseous and liquid waste streams, thereby streamlining the complex VOCs purification process into a singular vertical pressure vessel. It is characterized by high removal efficiency,a compact structure, enhanced safety, and simple operation. The practical application of this technology demonstrates excellent performance and substantial economic benefits.
