Structural imaging study of high steep inclination based on cross-well seismic data reverse time migration
In order to study the fine imaging of high steep dip structures, conventional seis-mic survey methods and imaging techniques cannot achieve good results. In contrast,cross-well seismic excites and receives seismic waves in the well, avoiding the absorption of the seismic wave field by the low drop velocity zone, and can obtain high signal-to-noise ratio seismic data.Meanwhile, the reverse time migration imaging method can accurately image complex structures such as high steep dip. Therefore, this paper combines the advantages of cross-well seismic and reverse time migration methods to investigate the imaging of high steep dip coal seam structures in the X coalfield. The high steep dip structures are imigrated by using inverse time migration method in surface seismic observation systenm,VSP obser-vation system and cross-well seismic observation system. The results show that the cross-well seismic reverse time migration method has good imaging effects in high steep dip struc-tures and can effectively guide the fine exploration of coal seams in high steep dip struc-tures.
