Q oilfield has entered a period of extremely high water content,and the remain-ing oil is dispersed.Test data shows that vertical water absorption is seriously uneven.There is an urgent need to improve the vertical water injection contradiction in the oilfield through profile control.In this study,the slope value was corrected based on the traditional PI deci-sion-making well selection.The corrected slope value can be used for profile control and well selection analysis.According to the research results,the next steps for water injection wells are divided into three categories,profile control wells,status quo maintenance wells,injection wells.Based on the research results,profile control and well selection were carried out in Bohai Q oilfield.Field practice has proven that multi-well combination profile control was carried out in wells Q27,Q30,Q17 and Q31.After profile control,the five surrounding oil wells achieved significant water control and oil stabilization effects,achieving a daily oil increase of 30 cubic meters.The data of this method are easy to obtain and can guide the oilfields later adjustments to tap potential.It has strong application and reference value for other offshore water injection oilfields.
