乙二醇再生单元重沸器结垢原因分析

某海上平台的乙二醇再生单元短时间内出现重沸器结垢、滤器脏堵、控制阀堵塞等情况,影响整个再生单元的正常使用.通过对垢样成分进行FT-IR、GCMS、XRD、SEM+EDS分析,获取结垢的成分信息.根据检测结果和现场实际情况综合分析,指出再生单元结垢的原因为重沸器加热升温过程中,部分盐溶解度下降,同时,水分蒸发,盐浓度上升,过饱和的盐从溶液中结晶沉积,形成结垢物,主要成分为可溶性碳酸盐.重沸器温度过高是造成再生单元短时间结垢的原因,另外由于富乙二醇中含有钙、镁等二价阳离子,在系统内聚集产生少量不溶性碳酸盐.
Analysis of scaling causes in the reboiler of ethylene glycol regeneration unit
The ethylene glycol regeneration unit of a certain offshore platform experienced fouling in the reboiler,dirty and blocked filters,and blocked control valves in a short period of time,which affected the normal use of the entire regeneration unit.By conducting FT-IR,GCMS,XRD,SEM+EDS analysis on the composition of the scale sample,the information on the composition of the scale is obtained.Based on the comprehensive analysis of the detec-tion results and the actual situation on site,it is pointed out that the reason for the scaling of the regeneration unit is that during the heating and heating process of the reboiler,the solu-bility of some salts decreases,while the water evaporates and the salt concentration increas-es.The supersaturated salt crystallizes and deposits from the solution,forming a scale,main-ly composed of soluble carbonate.The high temperature of the reboiler is the reason for the short-term scaling of the regeneration unit.Additionally,due to the presence of divalent cations such as calcium and magnesium in the rich ethylene glycol,a small amount of insol-uble carbonate accumulates in the system.
