Analysis and treatment of frequent leakage of catalytic hot water circulating pump seals
During the use of the hot water circulating pump 1202-P-101 of the refining catalytic unit of Ningxia Petrochemical Company,the hidden danger of machine seal leakage frequently occurs,resulting in frequent on-site maintenance and affecting the long-term sta-ble operation of the device.Through analysis,the equipment professional group concluded that the main reasons affecting the frequent leakage of the machine seal were dirty circulat-ing water quality,easy blockage of the circulating water line and poor cooling effect of the machine seal cooler.In view of the above reasons,the unit carries out hidden danger control,replaces and thickens the circulating water inlet seal cooler pipeline on site,at the same time,replaces one of the pumps as a whole with a machine seal cooler with a larger heat ex-change area,so as to increase the heat exchange and cooling efficiency of the machine seal flushing water,ensure the flushing effect,and extend the long-term operating life of the moving equipment.
