Feasibility evaluation method for fracture network fracturing of low permeability buried hill reservoirs on the sea
The development of offshore low permeability buried hill reservoirs is difficult, the development economic limit is high, and the development effect is greatly affected by the fracturing volume.Based on the geological model and mechanical model, using the integrat-ed method of geological engineering,it is considered that the M buried hill reservoir can form a complex artificial fracture network. In order to further improve the complexity of frac-tures,a fracture network evaluation method with reservoir stress difference, interlayer thick-ness,approach angle and horizontal stress difference coefficient as parameters is established, and the optimal value is given. It is considered that when the reservoir stress difference is less than 4 MPa or the interlayer thickness is less than 7 m,the artificial fracture can be penetrated through the layer and the fracture complexity can be realized. This study has a good guiding role in demonstrating whether the fracturing of offshore low permeability buried hill reservoirs can form complex fracture patterns and improve the initial and cumulative production of a single well.
