Application of hollow glass microbeads in old well side drilling
With the development of oil and gas fields,there are more and more window side drilling in old wells,which have the characteristics of narrow annular clearance and high ce-ment performance requirement.Some wells have high opening window points and long open hole sections.The 1.18～1.55 g/cm3 general low-density cement slurry system widely used at present can not meet the requirements of one-time upreturn cementing and the strength re-quirements of later development.The low-density cement slurry system of 1.15 g/cm3 was prepared by selecting hollow glass microbeads as the reducer in the room.The system has the advantages of good fluidity,high stability and high compressive strength,and can take into account the requirements of cementing process and strength.Two wells have been used in the field,and the cementing quality is good,so it has a good application prospect in the natural gas window side drilling.
