Quantitative characterization of remaining oil in shallow C2 reservoir of Hujianshan oilfield and its application
After 20 years of development, the shallow C2 reservoir in Hujianshan oilfield has entered the double-high development stage, therefore, the understanding of the distribu-tion of remaining oil needs to be further deepened. In this study, the new remaining oil log-ging technology and reservoir numerical simulation are used to carry out the quantitative characterization of remaining oil in the old area, which can change the remaining oil descrip-tion from qualitative to quantitative and improve the accuracy of remaining oil prediction. The three main controlling factors of remaining oil enrichment in the study area are defined as follows,(1)affected by sedimentary rhythm and bottom water coning, the remaining oil distributes in an inverted triangle around the oil well.(2)The water drive is more uniform, the remaining oil is mainly concentrated at the edge of the reservoir, the unswept area of wa-ter drive and around the damaged casing wells.(3)The distribution of the remaining oil is controlled by the microstructural high point, and the remaining oil is mainly distributed in the higher part of the structure.According to the law of remaining oil distribution, making full use of the reservoir rhythm and the development of intercalation, the study area is ad-justed by infilling sidetracking, and good results are achieved in the test area. The final re-covery of the study area is increased by 2.0%,it provides some reference for the later infill sidetracking adjustment of similar reservoirs.
