The Discussion and Analysis of Several Important Topics on Safety Instrumented System Standard
Some inaccuracy about definitions and some descriptions in the standards of IEC61511 original text causes some difficulties on reading and comprehend,and some wrong translations about some items in GB/T21109 that identifies the IEC standard bring about confuses and mistakes on reference and interpretation.Contrasting the process industry and instrument professional technology in engineering design,several typical questions from the items of original text in IEC61511-1 and the translations in GB/T21109.1 are listed about safety instrumented system such as some definitions,the relationship between control system and control devices,the difference between safety instrumented system and process control system,safety logic controller,probability of failure,and so on.It is to take the best and leave the rest that being discussed about concepts and methods in engineering application and in design,and to give some advises.
