New Generation Single-wire Pair Ethernet Technology and Application in Process Industry Data Communication
The development history of process industry of two-wire system communication technology are reviewed,including 4~20 mA,HART,RS-485 and new APL/10BASE-T1L single-wire pair Ethernet communication technology,the individual advantages and disadvantages,encountered problems and consequence development direction.The new generation single-wire pair Ethernet NG-SPE technology is introduced with stress,and the balanced performance on the aspects of width,distance,nodes and power supply.The comparison result with other mainstream single pair technology indicates,data transmission of 100 Mibit/s within 1 km,15 nodes access,one point to multipoint power supply,and various kinds of cable and topology structure supported can be realized with new generation single pair Ethernet,and can be applied in various field such as process industry and internet of things,with replacement of low speed fieldbus.Fieldbus communication for long distance with high speed can be realized with the existing cable.
