Discussion on Improving the Availability of SIS
The self-diagnosis function of the safety instrumented system is applied to control the risk of bypass loop with adapting suitable compensation,it can efficiently improve the availability of the safety instrumented system.The causes of spurious trip,and the diagnostic methods and compensation measures to improve the availability of safety instrumented system are summarized.Taking the safety instrumented function(SIF)of"1oo1"structure as an example,the structure principle of"1oo1D"and SIL verification are introduced,the reliability and availability of"1oo1D"structure are calculated and analyzed.The design suggestions to improve the availability are given.
