Real-time Optimization of a Coal-based Million-ton Ethylene Cracking Unit
Numerous factors affect the target product yield and stable operation of coal-based ethylene cracking units.By utilizing a real-time optimization(RTO)system based on simultaneous equation methods,the operating parameters of the unit can be adjusted in real time,the unit's production efficiency and product quality can be enhanced continuously.The process flow,model construction,and optimization process of the unit are introduced,with a focus on establishing a closed-loop RTO system based on online analyzers and SPYRO simulation software,the model's rationality and practicality are validated through data tuning and optimization mode.By analyzing and comparing with the actual operating data before and after the implementation of the RTO system,the results show that the application of the system can increase the combined yield of propylene and ethylene by 0.555 6%and ensure the stable operation of the unit.
