The Optimization of Control Valve Calculation Method and Design Criteria
The ability of control valves to accurately control fluid flow is crucial for the stability of industrial processes.The optimization of control valve calculation method and design criteria are discussed to improve the controllability,reduce energy consumption,and meet safety and environmental protection requirements.The prerequisites is analyzed for the control valve to be able to fulfill its role,including correct process data and calculating equation.A method is provided to calculate the full open discharge coefficient and valve authority based on the known conditions of normal flow or maximum flow,then the inherent and installed flow characteristics are analyzed.The calculating procedures of discharge coefficient and valve selection criteria are introduced in detail,the reference is provided for the selection and calculation of control valves.
