Application of High-tech Complex Industrial Robots and the Rise of Production Links in Manufacturing GVC
Based on the scientific identification of the technical complexity of industrial robots and the preference index of value chain production links,this article analyzes the mechanism of the application of high-tech complex industrial robots on the rise of GVC production links from multiple dimensions,and further examines the"supply cutoff"threat response effect of high-tech complex industrial robot applications.The main conclusions are:(1)The application of high-tech complex industrial machines can promote the production links of the manufacturing GVC.High-tech complex industrial robots can not only promote manufacturing production technology and processes from latecomers to the quasi-frontier and frontier,but also improve the degree of autonomy and controllability of key core links in the industrial chain.(2)The application of high-tech complex industrial robots not only helps to improve the price markup capability of the industry,but also helps to improve the ability to gather high-end factor resources and increase the probability of government support.Moreover,the above channels also enable the application of high-tech complex industrial robots to have a positive effect on the increase in production links.(3)The application of high-tech complex industrial robots can not only reduce the sample countries'dependence on US intermediate goods,but also reduce their dependence on intermediate goods from US and major allies.To this end,the application of high-tech complex industrial robots can effectively reduce the adverse impact of the threat of"supply cutoff"by US and major allies.(4)The GVC production link's high preference index and the low complexity of industrial robot technology coexist in a dilemma,which has led China's industrial robot application to a problem of"large quantities and weak technology"and a relatively limited promotion effect on the production links of the GVC.The key to solving the problem is to continuously improve the cutting-edge nature of China's industrial robot technology.
