Sensitivity Analysis of Main Formation Parameters in Electric Pulse Rock-Breaking
The hardness and wear resistance of rocks severely limit the efficient exploitation of deep and ultra-deep oil and gas resources, while electric pulse rock-breaking technology has unique advantages in breaking hard rocks. To investigate the influence of formation properties on the performance of electric pulse rock-breaking,a dy-namic electric damage model was built based on the basic rock-breaking unit according to the principle of electric pulse rock-breaking.Then,the influence of rock properties on the performance of electric pulse rock-breaking un-der specific high-voltage pulse power supply parameters was discussed. The results show that the larger the relative dielectric constant, the lower the time cost of electric breakdown occurring inside the rock, and the greater the depth of failure and the total amount of damage. The electric breakdown time and depth of failure fluctuate slightly with changes in Poisson's ratio and Young's modulus, but there is no regularity. The density of the rock does not affect the performance of electric pulse rock-breaking.The research findings provide some reference for the promo-tion of electric pulse rock-breaking technology.
