Rapid Analysis Method for Fluid Pressure in Wellbore and Its Application in CO2 Wells
Wellbore is the main channel for material and energy exchange between the working fluid in the wellbore and the subsurface reservoir, and the accurate prediction of fluid temperature and pressure fields in the wellbore is a crucial part in deep fluid injection and production engineering, and it conteols the operation efficiency and safety evaluation.Literature review reveals that the fluid pressure in the wellbore changes approximately linear-ly with depth. On this basis,a rapid analysis method for fluid pressure in the wellbore was proposed. Then,a coupled calculation model for fluid temperature and pressure in a wellbore was built based on the mass conservation equation, momentum conservation equation and energy conservation equation of the fluid in the wellbore, and the coupled model was used to analyze the variation sensitivity of the parameters such as the undetermined parameters, fluid conditions, wellbore parameters and physical properties of formation proposed in the rapid analysis method. Finally, for CO2 wells,a rapid analysis expression for fluid pressure in the wellbore was presented, and verified with engineering field data, showing that the accuracy of the pressure solution is within the range permitted by en-gineering applications. The rapid analysis method for fluid pressure in the wellbore proposed in the paper is ob-tained from the statistics of literatures, suitable for gas wells, liquid wells, production wells and injection wells, having a wide coverage range, and has the characteristics of convenient and fast calculation with fewer parameters. The undetermined parameters in the rapid analysis expression for a specified working fluid can be provided by office researchers.Overall, the proposed method has great convenience for field engineers.
