螺纹参数误差对钻杆接头密封性的影响分析

为探究钻杆接头螺纹参数极限误差对其密封性的影响,基于API NC38 钻杆接头,分析了锥度、牙侧角和螺距3 种螺纹参数极限误差的存在情况,建立了12 种内、外螺纹极限误差组合的钻杆接头有限元模型,分析了不同误差组合的钻杆接头在上扣扭矩单独作用、上扣扭矩和轴向载荷组合作用下的密封性和应力分布.分析结果表明:螺距极限误差对钻杆接头密封性影响最为明显,且极易出现接触面屈服失效的情况;锥度极限误差使钻杆接头在受拉伸载荷时密封性显著降低;内外螺纹牙侧角极限误差变化情况相反时,钻杆接头局部出现塑性变形,影响密封效果.因此钻杆接头螺纹加工时有必要进一步控制螺纹参数的误差范围,避免出现标准规定的极限误差,降低钻杆接头密封失效的风险.研究结果可为快速、安全钻井提供技术支撑.
Influence of Thread Parameter Errors on the Sealing Property of Tool Joints
In order to investigate the impact of thread parameter limiting errors on the sealing property of tool joints,based on API NC38 tool joint,the existence of three thread parameter limiting errors such as taper,tooth flank angle and pitch were analyzed.A finite element model of tool joint with 12 combinations of internal and exter-nal thread limiting errors were built,and the sealing property and stress distribution of tool joints with different er-ror combinations under the action of make-up torque and the coaction of make-up torque and axial load were ana-lyzed.The results show that the limiting error of pitch has the most significant impact on the sealing property of tool joint,and yield failure of the contact surface easily occurs.The limiting error of taper significantly reduces the sealing property of tool joint under tensile load.When the variation of the limiting error of the internal and external thread flank angles is opposite,plastic deformation occurs locally in the tool joint,which affects the sealing effect.During the machining of tool joint thread,the error range of thread parameters needs to be further controlled,so as avoid the occurrence of limiting error specified in the standard,and reduce the risk of sealing failure of tool joints.The research results provide technical support for fast and safe drilling.
