Extraction Technology of Soluble Dietary Fiber from Pleurotus eryngii Fruiting Bodies
Orthogonal testing [L9 (34 )]was used to optimize selected parameters (NaOH concentration, extraction time, extraction temperature, liquid:solid ratio)affecting the alkali extraction of soluble dietary fiber (SDF)from Pleurotus eryngii fruit bodies. The maximal yield of SDF (4.05%)was obtained when 1 g of powdered fruit body was immersed in 45 mL of 0.5% NaOH for 3 hours at 60 ℃.The water holding and swelling capacities of the SDF were 1.25 ± 0.05 g/g and 29.38 ± 0.78 mL/g respectively, and the polysaccharide content was 76.74±3.30%.
