Experimental Study on Torsional Performance of Shear Connectors in Precast Concrete Sandwich Panel
To improve the torsion resistance of precast concrete sandwich panels under sudden torsion during manufacture, transportation and earthquake. The torsion tests of 6 groups of 18 precast concrete sandwich panels were carried out,and the effects of shear connector width, number and shear connector spacing on the torsion performance of the specimens were analyzed. As a result, when the width of the shear connector increases from 160 mm to 200 mm,the torsional bearing capacity of the shear connector increases by 32%;compared with the single-piece shear connector, the torsional bearing capacity of the double-piece shear connector increases by 51%;when the distance between the two-piece shear connector is 100 mm,the load is slightly larger than 50 mm,and the difference is less than 14%.The torsional failure of precast concrete sandwich panel belongs to ductile failure, and it is suggested to use two-piece shear connectors with 100 mm spacing to improve the torsional performance of the shear connectors under unreliable conditions.
