Development and Testing of an Underground Electrically Controlled Cement Release Tool
In response to the shortcomings of traditional underground ash removal tools at home and abroad,a new type of underground electrically controlled cement release tool has been innovatively developed based on the working principle of underground electric tools. The structure and working principle of the tool have been described in detail, with emphasis on the mechanical analysis of the moving parts of the tool, and the effects of borehole inclination, temperature, pressure and borehole fluid properties on the opening of the tool have been studied. The rationality and reliability of the design were fully verified by high-temperature,high-pressure underground tests and on-site construction tests.Research experiments have shown that the developed underground electrically controlled cement release tool has an outer diameter of 73 mm and a length of 1 400 mm,and can be flexibly equipped with different specifications of ash storage cylinders according to different construction well conditions.Ground tests and on-site construction tests have verified the high temperature and high pressure resistance performance of the tool and the feasibility of ash dumping operations, respectively. The above conclusions can provide more efficient and feasible technical support for the safe construction of oil and gas well plugging operations.
