Sensitivity Analysis of Pressure Reduction Performance Parameters of Central Jet Pumps
To analyze the influence of jet pump structural parameters on the hydraulic drop of annular wells,CFD simulation software was used to simulate and analyze the pressure reduction effect of different structural parameters of the central jet pump.Four key structural parameters, including pipe length, pipe diameter, nozzle diameter, and nozzle angle,as well as the sensitivity of drilling fluid density and displacement to pressure drop, were simulated based on actual working conditions. In addition, the erosion analysis of the jet pump is carried out by CFD-DPM method, and the area with large erosion is given. The results show that, compared with the other three parameters, the nozzle diameter has a significant effect on the annular pressure drop, while the pipe length, pipe diameter and nozzle angle have little effect on the annular pressure drop.Compared with drilling fluid density, drilling fluid displacement has a more significant effect on the pressure reduction effect of jet pump. The large area of erosion occurs mainly at the inlet of the jet pump, the corner of the jet pump bend and the nozzle reduction. The research results provide a reference for the structural size design of the central jet pump used for pumping and depressurizing.
