Offshore High Conductivity Layered Sand Prevention and Layered Polymerization Control Technology
To address the issue of electric pump wells with a diameter of 177.8 mm in the Shengli offshore chemical drive block, which are prone to sand blockage and accumulation, and the subsequent reduction in pump inspection periods, which in turn affects the chemical drive development effect,a high conductivity stratified sand control and stratified oil recovery technology has been developed. The technology comprises three control techniques, namely large-diameter low adsorption layer sand control and agglomeration,small-diameter and large-thrust tube layer control and electric pump rapid agglomeration, which are designed to facilitate long-term oil recovery. In the area of sand control, the use of low adsorption technology resulted in a reduction of the adsorption amount of polymer by 48.3%.The small diameter of the pipe separation technology was designed to reinforce the device, thereby enabling the suspension of the separation string beneath the pump. The hydraulic multistage production distributor facilitates multi-opening and large thrust control, with a maximum outside diameter of 80mm.The electric pump unit optimizes the structure and material of the guide impeller and increases the shear device to break down aged polymer and improve the conductivity of the polymer flooding. At present, this technology has been successfully applied in 37 wells in the Shengli Sea,producing two to three layers. The average daily oil increase per well is 21.3 t,with a maximum concentration of 650 mg/L,which is sufficient to maintain normal production. This technology is capable of meeting the production demands of"low adsorption, blockage prevention, and accumulation control"in chemical flooding pump wells, enabling the long-term lifting of offshore electric pump wells, and has considerable potential for further application.
