Through laboratory simulation test and oil tank mixing test,the stratification phenomenon of gasoline or diesel samples in different density differ-ence range was tested and analyzed.The results showed that with the increase of density difference range,the miscible region of oil was shrinking and narrowing,the density difference range in miscible region was also increasing,and the stratification phenomenon was becoming more and more serious.The sulfur content and octane number index of gaso-line group and the sulfur content and flash point of diesel group are synchronously distributed with the oil mixing state.Therefore,the blending scheme is suggested for the oil product sales enterprise:When the oil density difference range is 0-2 kg/m3,most of the mixing areas can be miscible and the oils can be blended.When the density difference range is 2-4 kg/m3,the miscible area gradually reduces,and the stratification trend gradually appears,which means that the oils can be blended.However,the control level should be set to the medium risk level,and the samples after blending should be monitored.When the density difference range is greater than 4 kg/m3,the miscible areas are centralized in the oil junction area,showing obvious stratification,and the control level is high-risk,so it is not recommended to blend.
