The closed flash point is an important safety indicator for petroleum products,which can represent the evaporation of petroleum products and determine whether they are mixed with light frac-tions.A detailed introduction was given to the micro method for detecting the closed flash point of petrole-um products,and a comparison was made with the traditional Pensky-Martin closed cup method in terms of accuracy,repeatability,and reproducibili-ty.The results showed that the micro method had better accuracy,repeatability,and reproducibility,and the sample amount of the micro method was small and the detection time was short,avoiding hu-man operational errors during the Pensky-Martin closed cup method measurement and improving the safety during detection,which can meet the daily a-nalysis requirements of the quality inspection room.
