Under the premise of brief introduction of two manhole leakage accident cases of refined oil stor-age tank,the causes of manhole leakage are analyzed from improper material selection,damaged sealing surface,improper assembly,operation and mainte-nance,external factors,etc.,and the manhole leak-age will cause personnel,environmental hazards and economic losses.The advantages and disadvantages of traditional manhole leakage treatment technology and new technology are compared.A manhole leakage treatment case of an oil depot is shared.The princi-ples and measures of manhole leakage treatment are proposed,which provides a reference for the manhole leakage treatment of relevant units.
