The Treatment of Pelvic Defects in Different Surgical Modalities of Laparoscopic Uterine Preservation:a Literature Overview
Uterine prolapse is a common gynecologic disorder in middle-aged and elderly women,and its etiology mainly lies in defects in pelvic fascia and neuromuscular function.Surgery is the mainstay of treatment for severe uterine prolapse.In recent years,the use of minimally in-vasive techniques has been growing,and laparoscopy is increasingly being used in pelvic floor re-constructive surgery.The article provides a review of recent research advances in the treatment of pelvic defects in different surgical modalities of laparoscopic uterine preservation.
