The Evidence-based"Disease-characteristics Nursing Quality Improvement"Program Information Platform in the Perioperative Period of Patients with Osteoporotic Vertebral Compression Fracture
Objective To investigate the efficacy of the evidence-based"disease-characteristics nursing quality improvement"program(DNQIP)information platform in the perioperative period of patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture(OVCF).Methods The 120 OVCF patients who underwent percutaneous vertebroplasty were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, with 60 cases in each group. The control group adopted conven-tional nursing care, and the observation group adopted the evidence-based nursing program on the DNQIP information platform plus conventional nursing care.Osteoporosis awareness, medication adherence and patient satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results After the in-tervention,the scores of osteoporosis awareness, medication adherence, and nursing satisfaction in the observation group were 22.73±0.29,6.87±0.08,and 95.35±0.43,respectively,which were significantly higher than those of the control group(20.03±0.27,5.55±0.10,and 90.98±0.49),and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The evidence-based DN-QIP information platform can effectively improve OVCF patients'disease awareness, medication adherence and patient satisfaction, and better reflect the value of the specialist nursing.
