Compliance of Allergen-specific Immunotherapy in Allergic Rhinitis:a Review
Allergen-specific immunotherapy(AIT)is the mainstay of treatment for allergic rhi-nitis(AR).Clinical practices show that the low treatment compliance of AR patients is a common problem and directly affects the final therapeutic outcomes.This article explores the causes of low compliance to AIT treatment in patients,immunotherapy regimens,and insufficient or missing health education,and summarizes the interventions for patients and their families,the optimiza-tion of immunotherapy regimens,and the use of digital technology to improve compliance of AR patients,with a view to making targeted recommendations for improving compliance to treatment in AR patients.
