Objective To explore clinical efficacy of multidisciplinary comprehensive treatment(MDT)in orthopedic patients with post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD).Methods 60 orthopedic patients with PTSD were selected and randomly divided into a control group(n=30)and an experimental group(n=30)using a random number table. The control group received routine nursing, whereas the experimental group underwent MDT,both groups intervened for 2 weeks.Psychiatric symptoms(attention disorders, emotional disorders, volitional behavior disorders, and memory disorders)and scores on PTSD Self-rating Scale(PTSD-SS)were compared between the 2 groups after intervention, along with the degree of anxiety and depression assessed using Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)and Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD-17).Results After intervention, the incidence of psychiatric symptoms, the score of PTSD-SS,and the degree of anxiety and depression in the experimental group were all lower than those in the control group(P<0.05 or P<0.001).Conclusion MDT can potentially improve psychiatric symptoms, degree of trauma and psychological status in orthopedic patients with PTSD.
