冷拌冷铺乳化沥青混合料的强度形成受多种因素的影响,导致其压实时机难以把握,而现行规范中缺少冷拌冷铺乳化沥青混合料压实时机的判定标准,制约了该材料的推广应用.为此,对冷拌冷铺乳化沥青混合料压实时机的确定方法和判据开展室内模拟研究.首先,通过室内试验建立了乳化沥青混合料劈裂强度、高温稳定性、低温抗裂性及水稳定性与试件成型时机的关系方程,相关性分析表明,劈裂强度与高温稳定性、低温抗裂性及水稳定性之间的相关性极显著,可以用劈裂强度作为代表性指标来确定压实时机.在此基础上,以路用性能满足热拌改性沥青混合料的规范要求为判据,确定了乳化沥青混合料压实时机的判定指标和标准,即判定指标为劈裂强度,判定标准为劈裂强度Q≥0.69 MPa.该成果对乳化沥青混合料压实时机的确定具有参考价值.
Indoor Simulation Study on the Method for Determining the Compaction Time of Cold Mixed and Cold Laid Emulsified Asphalt Mixture
The strength formation of cold mixed and cold laid emulsified asphalt mixture is influenced by various factors,making it difficult to grasp its compaction timing.However,the current specifications lack cri-teria for determining the compaction timing of cold mixed and cold laid emulsified asphalt mixture,which re-stricts the promotion and application of this material.Therefore,this article conducts indoor simulation re-search on the method and criteria for determining the compaction time of cold mix and cold laid emulsified as-phalt mixture.Firstly,the relationship equation between the splitting strength,high-temperature stability,low-temperature cracking resistance,and water stability of emulsified asphalt mixture and the forming time of the specimen was established through indoor experiments.The correlation analysis showed that the correlation between splitting strength and high-temperature stability,low-temperature cracking resistance,and water stability was very significant.Therefore,the splitting strength can be used as a representative indicator to de-termine the compaction timing.On this basis,based on the criterion that the road performance meets the spec-ification requirements of hot mix modified asphalt mixture,the judgment index and standard for the compressi-bility time of emulsified asphalt mixture are determined,that is,the judgment index is the splitting strength,and the judgment standard is 0.69 MPa.This achievement has reference value for determining the compaction time of emulsified asphalt mixture.
