Study on the Rheological Properties of Emulsified Rubber Asphalt
The rheological properties of emulsified rubber asphalt evaporation residue determine its road performance. For this reason, this study investigated the rheological properties of emulsified rubber asphalt e-vaporation residue and compared them with those of rubber asphalt before emulsification through dynamic fre-quency scanning test, temperature scanning test,MSCR test, and low-temperature creep test. The results show that compared with rubber asphalt, the G*,activation energy Ea,G',G",and failure temperature of e-mulsified rubber asphalt evaporation residue become larger, and the phase angle(δ)decreases, and its high temperature performance is better. The recovery rate(R)of the evaporated residue of emulsified rubber as-phalt is larger, the irrecoverable creep flexibility(Jnr)is reduced, and it has more excellent high temperature rutting resistance. The evaporated residue of emulsified rubber asphalt has a larger value of creep strength(S),a smaller value of creep rate(m),and a larger value of S/m under the same temperature conditions, indicating that its low-temperature performance is reduced.
