The Study on Healing Properties of Self-healing Microcapsule Asphalt Mixtures
Preparation of a millimeter-sized microcapsule and characterization of its micromorphology,mechanical properties and encapsulation,use the fluorescence microscopy to observe the microcapsules asphalt micro-healing process as well as different microcapsule dosage of asphalt tensile healing behavior,to explore the effect of the addition of microcapsules under the action of the actual load on the healing performance of as-phalt mixtures.The results show that the microcapsules present a multi-chamber structure,it can be a good coating of regenerative agent,and at the same time can withstand the asphalt mixture mixing high temperature and high pressure environment,the microcapsules can release regenerative agent to repair cracks and improve the healing performance of asphalt,and microcapsules under the action of the load will be released gradually regenerative agent,to realize the long-lasting repair,and effectively extend the service life of the asphalt pavement.
