Advances in Self-Healing Behavior and Research Methods of Asphalt
The self-healing behavior of asphalt based on the sustainable development needs of road en-gineering has received much attention and its theory and research methods are changing with each passing day.This paper summarized the healing mechanism and influencing factors of asphalt,reviewed healing tests to characterize the self-healing index and the microscopic test methods of asphalt microcrack healing process,concluded the computer simulation technology to simulate self-healing process of asphalt by molecular dynam-ics,prospected the self-healing of asphalt and its research methods,and pointed out the future development direction of asphalt self-healing technology.
