Review on Low Noise Asphalt Pavements(2)——Measurement Techniques and Numerical Simulation on Tire-Pavement Interaction Noise
Tire-pavement interaction noise, originating from the friction and vibration between tires and the pavement surface,is a primary source of road traffic noise pollution.Accurate testing and precise simula-tion of tire-pavement interaction noise are crucial for understanding the mechanisms of noise generation and developing low noise asphalt pavements. This paper summarizes the current common measurement techniques for tire-pavement interaction noise, with a focus on outdoor measurement techniques such as the statistical pass-by,continuous-flow traffic time-integrated,coast-by,close-proximity trailer, and on-board sound intensity methods,as well as indoor measurement techniques including the impedance tube, tire drop, and drum methods.Additionally, this review encompasses numerical simulation methods and research progress based on finite element or boundary element models, aiming to provide technical references for refining meas-urement techniques and numerical analysis on tire-pavement interaction noise.
