Comprehensive indicator of multi-dimensional micromagnetic parameters for evaluation of plastic deformation and residual austenite of DH590 steel
The micromagnetic method was used to quantitatively characterizes the plastic deformation and retained austenite of DH590 steel. The magnetic parameters utilized for the characterization of plastic deformation and residual austenite were extracted, particularly focusing on the distinctive double-peak characteristics observed in magnetic Barkhausen noise.By analyzing the variation coefficient of magnetic parameters, magnetic parameters with high consistency in repeated measurements were selected as candidate evaluation parameters, and a comprehensive indicator of magnetic parameters based on goodness of fit, normalized sensitivity and relative error was proposed to analyze the characterization ability of candidate magnetic parameters on the plastic deformation and residual austenite content in DH590 steel.Through comparative analysis, the double-peak magnetic parameters of magnetic Barkhausen noise and incremental permeability signals, extracted by fitting with a double-Gaussian function, could effectively characterize both plastic deformation and residual austenite content. This research methodology offered valuable insights for quantitatively characterizing plastic deformation and residual austenite content in ferromagnetic materials.
