Study on strong earthquake damage of concrete dam in cold region affected by salt immersion,freeze-thaw and ultraviolet radiation
In order to study the influence of salt immersion,freeze-thaw cycles and ultraviolet radiation coupling on the strong earthquake damage of concrete dams in cold regions, concrete performance degradation tests and seismic performance analysis of high dams under three factor cycles were carried out.Based on the results of the salt immersion analysis,a high concentration salt immersion liquid was prepared. In order to obtain the law of salt immersion freeze-thaw ultraviolet cycle effect and concrete material performance degradation, the number of freeze-thaw cycles and ultraviolet radiation amount were determined according to the actual situation.Based on the previous study, numerical analysis was conducted based on three influencing factors on the strong earthquake damage of the dam body. The results indicate that under harsh environments, the deterioration of material properties reinforce continuously due to the interaction between physical crystallization expansion and chemical erosion of concrete materials. When a strong earthquake occurs, the cyclic action of salt immersion freeze-thaw ultraviolet radiation changes the failure mode of high dams, reducing their overall seismic performance. The above research results contribute to a deep understanding of the impact of adverse environmental factors on the mechanical properties of dam materials, and provide a criteria for seismic design of hydraulic structures in cold regions.
