Application of liposuction combined with linear lifting surgery in the rejuvenation of the middle and lower face
Objective To explore the clinical application effect of liposuction combined with linear lifting surgery in the rejuve-nation of the middle and lower face. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 48 patients with moderate to severe facial aging who underwent treatment from March 2021 to December 2022.All patients have not underwent liposuction in the middle and lower face.Twenty-five patients underwent superficial cheek fat pad or nasolabial groove fat pad liposuction and linear lifting surgery simultaneously(observation group),while 23 patients underwent linear lifting surgery in the middle and lower face(control group).Regular postoperative follow-up was conducted to observe changes in facial aging and the occurrence of complications, and to investigate the post-operative satisfaction. Results After 6 months of postoperative follow-up,48 patients had significantly improved facial aging compared to before surgery, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The observation group showed better improvement than the control group[(6.51±1.26)points and(8.23±1.13)points,t=4.96,P<0.05],with a statistically significant difference.Among the 25 patients in the ob-servation group,24 were satisfied with the postoperative effect and 1 was dissatisfied.Among the 23 patients in the control group,16 were satisfied with the results and 7 were dissatisfied. The satisfaction rates between the two groups were compared(96.0%and 69.6%,χ2=4.274,P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant. In terms of complications, among the 25 patients in the observation group,3 had severe facial swelling after surgery, and 1 had poor unilateral elevation after surgery.Among the 23 patients in the control group,1 had se-vere postoperative facial swelling and 3 had asymmetric bilateral elevation. There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups(16.0%and 17.4%,χ2=0.5,P>0.05).Conclusion The nasolabial fat pad and superficial cheek fat pad liposuction combined with linear lifting surgery has high postoperative satisfaction, and low complications, which is worthy of clini-cal promotion.
