Clinical study of 2940 nm erbium laser micro peeling combined with topical complex tongye burn oil for the treatment of facial atrophic acne scars
Objective To investigate the application effect and potential mechanisms of erbium laser micro-peeling combined with topical complex Tongye burn oil in the treatment of facial atrophic acne scars. Methods A total of 63 patients with facial atrophic ac-ne scars from July 2020 to December 2022 at Baise People's Hospital were randomly divided into an observation group(n=32)and a control group(n=31).The control group received treatment with 2940 nm erbium laser micro-peeling,while the observation group received treat-ment with 2940 nm erbium laser micro-peeling combined with topical complex Tongye burn oil.pre-treatment and post-treatment acne scar weight scores(ECCA),symptom recovery time, and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results All patients complated the treatmant. After treatment, the total effective rate in the observation group was 87.50%,which was significantly higher than the 77.42%in the controlgroup control group(P<0.05).Both groups showed a reduction in ECCA scores after treatment, with the observa-tion group having lower scores than the control group(P<0.05).The observation group had a shorter duration of edema, erythema, and scab formation compared to the control group(P<0.05).There was a statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions dur-ing the treatment period between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion Topical complex Tongye burn oil can effectively assist in the treatment of facial acne scars with 2940 nm erbium laser micro-peeling,enhancing treatment efficacy and shortening recovery time and re-ducing adverse reactions.
