Red culture is the precious wealth accumulated by our party in the journey of a hundred years of struggle,especially the local red culture is the"living teaching material"to implement the function of college edu-cation and inherit the red gene.Expounding the connotation and contemporary value of Liaoning's"six regions"red culture,and combs the history of Liaoning's red culture education since the founding of the Party,which plays an important role in cultivating talents for the country,forming cultural identity,and realizing value shaping.Never-theless,there are still challenges in integrating red culture into ideological and political courses in colleges and u-niversities in the six regions of Liaoning Province,such as the lack of distinctive utilization of red cultural re-sources,the deficiency of student-centered teaching approaches,and the disjunction between some red culture e-ducation and practice.It is essential to explore aspects like perfecting the teaching system through mining red re-sources,motivating students to participate in red resources,and enhancing teaching effectiveness by relying on red practice bases,thereby providing references for the construction of ideological and political courses in Liaon-ing colleges and universities in the new era.
