Classical books are an important part of Chinese culture, and the translation of classical books is helpful to the exploration and dissemination of culture. With the increasing cultural exchanges between China and Japan, the Japanese translations of Chinese classics have attracted more attention.Generally speaking, the theory of translation operation norms includes parent norms and text language norms.Under the guidance of this transla-tion theory,it can be seen that the three Japanese versions of The Analects of Confucius by Chinese scholars Liu Derun,Kong Xianglin and Japanese translator Miyazaki Ichisada have their own stylistic characteristics. To ex-plore the similarities and differences between Japanese versions and analyze the reasons for the style differences by using examples is conducive to promoting the wide spread of Chinese classic culture.
